I am running the Nashville Half in April and wanted to know what a resonable goal is. Mind you I never ran in college -- played hoops/baseball, so I am not going to have 20x800 workouts at 2:15.
Here is what I've done and or doing:
18:51 5K
41:45 10K
35-40 miles a week
4x1 mile @ 6:00, 2 minute rest
Long runs 10-11 miles
9 miles @ 7:20 pace - not easy but not a max effort
I'd love to break 1:35, but I've heard it isn't that fast of a course.
Thoughts would be appreciated.
