If I took a year off with no training - 4:58. If I trained for 10 years - 4:48.
if i took a year off...hmmm, maybe 6:40, maybeprobably more like 7 flatwhen i'm training i do fine but i think off the couch i would be horrible

anyone have problems being REALLY REALLY stiff when trying to run after even a few weeks inactivity? like knees locked up, legs muscles really tight. Horrible
been out for almost a year after achilles tendon surgery...i ran a 5:10 mile bout a week ago...but since my metabolism is so high..ive gained no weight but loss alot

ok great...so how don't you understand that sometimes events occur where running might be on the backburner for a while? Not everyone is blessed with the health/situation to be able to go at it every day.
