My wife and I have never let her period bother us. She takes out her tampon and we have sex. No problem ...nature's lubrication. Yes, and even when she's in a time of "high flow."
If she's comfortable with it and willing, I'm sure not gonna say no. And I've never noticed any difference. So, for what it's worth ...just get over it.

You're kidding??? You do it at that time?
Man, the first time I had to deal with it, it freaked me out. It was the last thing I expected, I was totally grossed.
Maybe I just have bad luck or something. -
2 words: Bloodborne pathogens.

Her period only means that the FRONT door is locked. There are other ways into the House Of Love!

What Get Real People said. Communication doesn't hurt one bit, and if you CARE (that's directed at the guys), you'll follow instructions.
As previously stated: the fact that she's willing to put up with you should be enough motivation for any man who cares to at least ask:
"Say honey, what would you really like?"
then perform as requested. If it makes her happy what's the problem?
Gals: we aren't provided with maps of your errogenous zones, y'know. Not all of us are rakes, either. A little guidance might make everyone happier.
How many issues in life, too, BEYOND this could be solved by simply asking: "What needs to be done?" or "What is the solution to this issue". -
"map of your errogenous zones"
That's funny. -

Despite the sarcasm, you are actually correct in a sense. This thread inspired me to reread "Sperm Wars" by Robin Baker. The book outlines how our subconscious urges define all aspects of our outward sexuality. Every person is subconsciously wired to try and have as many children/grandchildren as possible, homosexuals included. But beware, you'll never look at a relationship the same again. Infidelity lurks everywhere. 10% of children in the U.S. are unknowingly raised by a man who falsely believes he is the father. 5% are conceived when a woman has more than one man's sperm in her.
A man's goal is pretty straightforward: sleep with as many desirable women as often as possible without acquiring a disease. Despite what Cosmo and Redbook say, there are no secrets to pleasing a man. Most men can't have tons of partners with good genes, so they choose monogamy to try and guarantee the chance of a few children with the subconscious thought that there will be opportunities for infidelity.
Women must behave much differently since they can't have as many children as a man. Women's sexuality has evolved as a method to mask their fertile phases such that they can best deceive men (subconsciously) and influence who fathers their children.
Female orgasm has great influence over fertilization. It's a mechanism that allows her to prevent all her partners the equal opportunity to conceive. Any man who can make a woman orgasm during or immediately after intercourse has a much better chance of fathering her child. She's got to be able to sway the odds if she gets as much as a single chance with a desirable man, infidelity included. That is why all women orgasm in different ways, and you unsatisfied men should make sure your wife tells you how she likes it. Her body knows that any man who knows how to work her individual body type without express directions has likely learned from much experience with many other women. Hence, any son of that man is also likely to be very desirable to women and have the chance to father many grandchildren. However, most women compromise when selecting a partner, opting to choose a man who can pass on good genes but is also likely to help her raise the children. -

I am not revealing my full last name for obvious reasons. Let's just say I am a runner and the governor of a state somewhere east of the Mississippi.
You people would not believe what the shutoff led me to do and the money I had to spend.
