Any of you have a Pacemaster Gold Elite Fold UP? How is the cushion, feel, ride on it? Would you rather have a new one of these or a used woodway if they came out to the same price?
Any of you actually run on a Woodway? What is it like? Thanks

Where is the Woodway for sale? I'll take it.
Good Question! There is a used Woodway on Ebay for 3G and on Craig's list for 5G negotiable. The Pacemaster is 2500 brand new.
Bulldog,
what are you doing buying a treadmill? Aren't you still running on the beautiful sands of St. Lucia?
The woodway is like a cast iron stove, eh?, indestructible.
Good question as well. I'm now running on the beautiful sands of Newport Beach. I stopped working for Club Med in 96' after Running the beaches of St. Lucia, Turks and Caico's, the Bahamas and Huatulco, Mexico. I do miss racing the local people in all these locations that used to see me out for a run.
Something got into me recently that I want to put a Woodway with mirrors in my garage. I guess the civilized world and marriage is chaning me!
Good call mate.
I wish I would have known you were a runner back when I visited St. Lucia.
I was also an incoming sophomore in high school, so I wasn't as willing to just run anywhere.
I did a lot of running on the property.
I just bought a Pacemaster Gold Fold Up & absolutely love it. It has the right balance on the deck (some of the treadmills I tried in this price range were to hard or too soft but the Pacemaster was perfect). I have not tried a Woodway (new or used) so can't comment on that front...just that the Pacemaster seems to be a great treadmill so far.
I paid $2199. They actually offered a 12 month interest free financing plan if you are disciplined enough to pay it off over 12 months.

I've run on a Woodway. Totally amazing. Like running on a nice, new outdoor track. It is not a belt moving over a surface; it is horizontal slats of rubber like a real track moving underneath. Very grippy, very smooth.
It will spoil you for anything else.
