Anywhere besides Warwick!
Anywhere besides Warwick!
I would look at anywhere in Wyoming. Small towns, outdoor activities, GREAT pay considering cost of living. They start out over 40k per year for a BA degree, but you won't be paying 500k for your house either. I would look up Cheyenne or Laramie.
I know of a fast training partner in Warwick.
Also I know some guy who does tricks on bikes who runs in Warwick.

I teach in ATL (or thereabouts). Not terribly impressed. The pay is good but the bureaucracy is crazy and the school I'm at is supposedly one of the better ones in the district and it's pretty bad.
I also heard there was a teacher strike in Michigan because the teachers are grossly overpaid and got upset that their insane benefits would be cut.
I'm a certified teacher also. Taught 8th and 10th grade in California before deciding it wasn't the career for me. One of the things that did it for me was when we moved to Michigan. I couldn't find a teaching job where we were (and at the time NO openings for English teachers), and I didn't want to sub, especially since we were only going to be in the state for 2 years. Those teaching jobs are prime in Michigan.

Sometimes I wonder if Flagpole and Rexing are the same person. They both can perform superhuman feats and I've never seen both at the same place at the same time.
Depends on the quality of the students you are wanting to have an illicit, sexual affair with?

Thanks. Anyone have any thoughts about teaching as a profession?
Three words - Don't do it.

That wasn't really me talking about the little kids above there...
I'll look into Wyoming a little more, thanks
Ronin,
If you can handle a little snow, Spokane area is your best bet. The cost of living in the small towns outside of Spokane is paltry, the trails around Spokane and the running scene are amazing, and the GSL is probably the best league in the country for distance running if you still lime to watch meets. The only real drawbacks are weather and lack of big city culture, the latter which you don't seem to mind.
