Ok, so here's how it's going to play out. Everyone, and I mean everyone, has counted the Colts out this year because of their late-season slide, mediocre run defense, lack of home field advantage, blah, blah, blah. So they are pretty much flying under the radar of peoples' expectations for once. Now everyone is salivating over San Diego and LT. But lo and behold, here comes a complete New England team playing well at the right time. Marty Schottenheimer is the classic underachiever in the playoffs. So, New England is going to go in and pull the "upset," while Indy knocks of a good, but unseasoned Ravens team in a close, low-scoring game. All the sudden, we have a complete role reversal, with the Patriots having to play at Indy indoors for a change. And Indy will win this one. Yep, Indy will be going to the Super Bowl in the year that no one is picking them, totally unlike the previous few years where they were the clear-cut favorite.
I enjoy seeing Payton's leadership but he will need a better defence to win it all one of these years.

This year Denver would not have won. Not with Jay Cutler at the helm.
denver already beat new england this year. you are positing a hypothetical.
Indy did what the needed to win, but really didn't look impressive...next week vs. Baltimore will be telling..
I live in the north jersey area where there are the hardcore new york sports fans, but I am from Philly. But I don't understand, why do those new new yorkers love the 4 letter team names. I mean we have the J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS. Then there is the M-E-T-S METS METS METS. And who can forget the N-E-T-S NETS NETS NETS. I mean show some creativity in your professional sports teams. What is gonna be next the P-E-T-S PETS PETS PETS? New York and all their teams suck. End of story

And yet you did it, proving what an idiot you are.
come again?

yes, that's what i said, you can win the super bowl, but you can't beat denver. it's pretty amusing.
So by transitive property Denver can win the Super Bowl, right?
Nope, Denver cannot win the Super Bowl. But they can sure beat up on the Patriots. Too bad they didn't get a chance to meet again.

Apparently not. We are glad to the return the favor, though!
J-E-T-S... Just End The Season!

Too bad you are an idiot. The Pats have won 3 of the last 5 superbowls, and Denver hasn't won one in awhile. Also, the Pats are 3-2 lifetime in Superbowls, while Denver is 2-4.
The Pats are the better franchise, and have been at the top of the league way more than Denver recently. So your little factoid is pointless. Does Denver have the best pre-season record too?? Congrats on that. Maybe the Broncos have the most field goals kicked in leap years?? Congrats again. Wow, Denver is just racking up the moral victories.
Bye-bye Broncos, enjoy watching the Pats next week.
(oh, and the Colts have done beaten a lot of great teams too in recent years. How many super bowls have they won?? EXACTLY!)

Looks like you should have stuck to that philosophy.
You couldn't look any stupider right now. Seriously, no friggin' way.

As opposed to the mature topic title of your Tigger thread, right?

For Chrissakes Denver couldn't beat the Niners in Denver to make the playoffs. Denver deserves a two year ban from the playoffs for this little "tidbit".
Hey look, the original poster never posted back. What a surprise.

Like when he blames the offensive line or when he wins a big game?!
Seriously, he should play for Marty Shottenheimer they way he chokes in big games.
Man, did I hit a sore spot apparently. Ouch. Well, you'll have to take consolation in the fact that you may get back to the big dance this year, and I'll have to take consolation in the fact that we routinely kick your ass and likely would have had we met in the playoffs.
The Jets didn't lose. They got obliterated. Funny how seemingly mediocre NE teams seem to do that time and again when the playoffs roll around. Maybe next time you'll think before you speak. Of course you'll have nothing to talk about until next year anyways.
