New Year's Resolution Run in Grand Rapids
New Year's Resolution Run in Grand Rapids
Is that supposed to be good or bad for him - seriously I don't know.
I'd say it is average.
what happened to the thread discussing his divorce?
It got yanked once the discussion went naturally to the identity of the gal he was having the affair with.
I missed that...Who's the lil homewrecker?
Apparently there are clues in the interviews. Apparently to name her on this site means the thread will be censored.
which interviews?
On his site

I took a guess in that thread (not sure if this is what you're speaking of) and stated the former 1500M runner, who now coaches Sully. But if that's what you're referring to, it as only a guess, seeing as how McMullen was almost hitting on her.
Everyone hits on Juli.
Why does anyone care about his personal life.
He was a very good miler in his day. I remember the great battles he had with Holman. These are now milers of a different era. At least he is still running.
....and Lunn keeps going.

I remember his battles with Kevin Sullivan from Michigan and how the 2 were almost interchangeable in results for a while there. I rememeber reading that McMullen got 2 of his small toes chopped off in a lawn mowing accident, 5 years ago or so. (no joke).
I chose not to get into his personal life.
The resolution run was at 8:30 am. He drove the 40 miles to Muskegon and ran a 5K at 11:00 am that day. Winner in 15:52. The article on the resolution run in the GR Press says he is planning on trying for an Olympic Marathon trials qualifying time of 2:22 or better in Austin on Feb. 18th.

I did that one year, only I ran the 6-miler in Muskegon rather than the 5k. Took 4th in GR and second in Sketown, but much slower than P-Mac.
