Well, it was also full of people like you that would come in with aloof statements like this and then incorrectly explain what would happen. That's one reason it went on for so long.

Yep, hands down. It was the thread that just kept giving as more and more pictures came to light and the subplots kept growing.

Former world marathon record holder Belaine Densimo wasn't mentioned until close to the end of that thread, so I would nominate him for the least known great runner. But apparently he's well known in Boston, where he is said to be living.
The thing that got me hooked on this site...the thread about the guy who lost his bike and was seeking advice on how to find it. Someone responded with "Have you checked the basement of the Alamo?" From that day on, I have been to the site everyday. Good advice and funny comments.
