Salazar and Royle are a given. Any help with the others?

Sorry for the reply to myself, but I found this thread with Adrian Royle and Hodge giving some insight into the race at Burbank. I think this is where Royle was resurrected (in a metaphoric way, not a sacraligious way) from he dead.
These are the easy ones: Steve Ortiz (UCLA), Steve Scott (Sub 4), and Thom Hunt (AW) for starters.
(I ran that race as a high schooler...)
#12 Herb Lindsey (AW)?
14 is Doug Padilla.
I was there too. Everyone kept asking "who the hell is that guy", in regards to Royle. The announcer finally dug his name up but called him "Ryle" throughout the race. We trashed the course that day. Pretty sweet overall.
In the 4th picture (2nd row, 2nd picture) ther's an AW guy with a headband. It looks like it might be Dan Dillon.
Remember going and expecting Salazar to just take it? Add me to one of those aksing "who the hell...?".
That's Steve Lacy again in the NB Singlet leading Royal in the first one.
Below on the left after Hunt, I don't know, then Ortiz,Don Janicki, Herb Lindsay in the hat, Scott behind Lindsay.
Next photo I cant make out the guy behind Scott, but that is definately Placensia AW behind him, and me (Dillon)in the AW/white headband a few places behind him.
Is that Pat Porter #252.
Yes.
#252 Yellow-Black top
...or is it Jeff Wells?
It's definitely Porter. If I remember correctly, he was 18th in '81 after winning his 2nd NAIA title. His 8(?) year streak of U.S. titles started in '82.

I think 370 is Ron Cornell, the 5th or 6th black American to break 4:00.
In the 4th picture (2nd row/2nd picture) I'm pretty sure that Henry Rono is between Herb Lindsay and Steve Scott. I also think that in the far left rear corner is one of the Tibuaduiza brothers (WVTC).
I had forgotten that non-US runners had such a presence in our national championships. You don't see that anymore. When/why did that change?
I don't remember him being in the race, but that looks like Henry Rono next to Steve Scot and behind Lindsey
isnt that Domingo Tibaduiza in front of Dillon in the 4th pic?
That might be Zach Barie running behind Scott.
Peter Koech?
