I agree--it's Henry. His thread is the only one I check daily. I've never found anything on here that I appreciate more. Thank you Henry.

I'd vote for Henry Rono for poster of the year, even though there's not much content there.

NO. RENATO is MUCH more experienced in the field of physiology and has a much better perspective on training and racing than anyone else including mayoroff or jtupper ( who is indeed the real jack daniels himself)
anyways who cares about an award, i think everyones vote should go towards R.C. because he is so busy coaching his elite athletes, yet STILL has time to come on a message board and answer running questions for amatures, FOR FREE.[/quote]
Dude- did you just take the comparison of you to Renato Canova SERIOUSLY?!?

Have you actually read some of the posts from the430miler before? It's really not that surprising.
To put things into better perspective, this is a kid who was ostracized by his peers over on the DyeStat message boards. When you manage to stand out from the immature, know-it-all trash-talkers over there, you REALLY have some issues!
Yeah, the immature, know-it-all trash talkers are WAY better, plus WE'VE hit puberty.
Honestly though, that's still pretty sad. The430miler is, I mean.
As a master myself I'll go with SoCalPete, along with Ed Whitlock, SoCalPete is one of the best age-graded runners that posts regularly and he has a great perspective on running and life.
how about Sara Hall?
Is this the best poster of the year or the fastest person that posts here?
This thread underscores the sterotype on this board - that is the faster your 5K PR, they more knowledgable you are on everything you say, even non-running stuff.
Oh yeah, don't forget no has a PR slower than 14:30 that posts on this board.
Anybody but skuj.
If we are Time's Person of the Year, how can we all not be Poster of the Year?
I would give it to the letsrun posting community.
Ted Cunningham. He hasn't posted here for three years, but he's got a five-mile cock, and that is enough to overcome a lack of participation on this board.
If any of you little pissants would take the advice of Mr. Chest, shed your fairy pants, get to the gym and put on some muscle, you would nominate Mr. Chest as Man of the Year.
Ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
He is so goddamn pompous and he knows next to nothing. I want to beat the crap out of him.

In all seriousness, the430miler has added more to the Letsrun community then anyone. He is poster of the year.
Renato Canova wins the Most Informative award for his invaluable coaching advice.
Henry, Mayeroff, or HRE for actually somewhat coherent (sp) posts.
the430miler, satch, or Flagpole for keeping me interrested during those luls in intellignet information sharing.

Please don't drink-and-type.

when this thread started, i wouldn't have agreed with you. but the430miler is turning on that impressive kick he boasts about so often. read the post at the bottom of this page; it clinched it for me.
http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?board=1&thread=1684822&id=1685063#1685063My favorite posters:
the430miler, carnivore69, KnowItAll, malmo, Flagpole Willy, and of course, Trollie McSockpuppet.
Up-and-coming award: the430miler
Makes-my-day award: Trollie.
Come on. Don't you guys remember the game he created where he scrambles up the letters of well-known runners and asks us to to decipher the secret code? TDANAH ZITREIHENN anyone?
I still suspect that he is a comic working on a higher level then the rest of us, and that makes him Poster of the Year.
If I can give a Worst Poster award (and I can) it goes to Old Runner Guy for obvious reasons.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
