Wow, is the wind at their back? They're only 10 seconds behind the WR split at the age. Actually, did Tergat really split 63:01 at Berlin '03?
Yea, the wind's been at their backs.

Anyone see the random dude running alongside the leaders?
hah anyone see that old dude sprint down the sidewalk trying to keep up??
beat me to it, that was hysterical
go abdi . . . maybe this is event, he always seems to be "solid" at the other events, but hasn't really had a huge breakthrough . . . this is great

Other than Abdi being right around the lead split, I don't know. I'm trying to find an update link (for those splits), that maybe others on here have accessed.
sell 10444 at halfway.
where did you get that from?
There was a 5:00 split thrown in according to Williams, which means that they're slowing.

I'm watching the live CBS coverage online and it's reminded me of something...
You have to put up with so many commercial breaks in the US! In the UK there is a break every 12-15mins (so 4 breaks over an hour), but in the US it's double that. A break after the opening credits, a break halfway through a 20-30min program, a break before the end credits, and a break after the end credits. You have my sympathies.
But back on topic, this race is unfolding very interestingly.
