Shizzy, that's an interesting post. As I've watched the PSAC over the years, it has been a constant shifting of ups and downs for all of the schools. In the last five years, I've seen Edinboro lose at the end of the season. I had never seen that before. More recently, it seems as though they're on the way back up again. When I was a freshman at Shippensburg, the team was regularly finishing in the top 10 at Nats (including a 2nd and 4th place finish). That's not where the program is now, but I suspect it will get back to being a top-10 in the nation team over the next 5 years. Lock Haven was always a pretty bad programming when I ran in the PSAC and for long before that, and I saw Coach Russell build them into a solid, solid team. They were down again the last few years but are definitely looking up. I've watched Coach Rohl take Mansfield from being one of the worst teams in the PSAC to a middle of the pack team. Same for California. My point is that over the past 10-15 years, the PSAC has been about a lot of ups & downs and there has been a lot of movement between teams from back of the pack to middle of the pack...from middle of the pack to front of the back...from near the front of the pack to middle of the pace, etc.Shizzy, you're statement is incredibly naive. Take a look around you. With regards to the post about how the PSAC used to get along across teams -- it still does. When I ran, the IUP team hung out a ton with the Ship team. After me, the IUP team hung out a ton with the Rock. Yesterday, I was at an indoor track meet here in Seattle at the U of W watching Kara Goucher, Amy Begley Yoder, Josh Rohtinsky, and Galen Rupp run damn fast....sitting there with a fellow IUP'er (Jorge Medina) who was wearing one of TeePee's West Chester XC shirts. When I was back east for XC Nationals at the Rock, I was delighted to see Jo Rupp (Millersville) and the older Boro guys, as much as I was to see the IUP alum. My point is that despite this thread, there is still a TON of comraderie amongst & between PSAC schools. Hoovis

I bet you whined about your facilities and you lack of money every time you were fifth at conference. But keep telling yourself that if you suck FOREVER one day you might not suck. Because really that's beautiful logic. And maybe it fuels some peoples fires to hate. Let them hate away, it's their right to say what they want within reason anyway. Let's be clear some teams in this conference have a good runner every few years, and then there are some schools that traditionally ALWAYS have great runners.
I think the haters have some merit to their comments.
