Gee, maybe it's just me, but I've never seen the question "So were you happy to win the Olympics" in a Runner's World Brief Chat, but since Douglas is an impartial journalist (uh huh), it must have happened.
It would be nice if this message board once gave RW credit for what it DOES manage to accomplish, especially with its website. They had very comprehensive interviews with Krummenacker, Jacobs, and Teter, the three outstanding middle distance stories of the first half of the Grand Prix schedule, posted before the SECOND half began.
They put up a new interview every day. Many of them may be tied to a specific event the athlete just ran or is about to run, so a good amount of the questions might have to reflect that. But for major events like the Boston Marathon and the New York City Marathon, they'll have interviews up with ever major entrant who speaks English, and several who do not.
But ... fer chrissakes, what's to bitch about? The stuff is timely and taken collectively, it's pretty comprehensive.
