I was doing an easy 30 minute run this morning before I left for work, and my right knee felt especially tight the whole time. About 2.5 miles in to the run, going down a hill, I got a very sharp pain in my right knee, that had me hobbling for a few steps. The sharpness went away and I was able to finish the run comfortably.
Right now it still feels tight. I iced the back side and front of my knee. The pain really seems to be on the front right side of my right knee, kinda where the knee "indents" a little. Does anyone know what this probably is? Runner's knee? Tendonitis?
I will take this afternoon off most likely, and keep icing. THanks for any help.
