Hard to believe no one mentioned Morceli.
"As slow as 10 min miles" on easy days!!
Run your distance runs by feel, go fast if you feel good, slow if you feel crappy, don't overthink it

Speak for your ignorant self.
I have not read all of these posts, so this may already have been said. But it may be that you are just not at a level yet where you can handle all of your runs at 6:30 pace. Thus, you never get any recovery days. Or maybe the 10k is just not your best event.
I'm interested in the workouts he did before 28:06. Anyone know??

I heard in another post that Wejo runs the majority of his milage at about 7 min pace.... is this true? Wejo can you comment? Other than tempo's and workouts, do you ever go faster?
Personally I am a guy who has never broken 33:00 but I run all of my miles, sub 6:30.

That you are running too fast on your easy days. We all have done it, I have chronic injuries because of it. I digress, read Wejo Speaks somewhere on the site. He explains how over training kept him from running great in college, as he learned to run smooth outside of races, he improved. Very interesting read if you are open to it.
Imagine Rupp trying to pawn this ridiculous story, yet the LRC fanboys gobble it up.
