Scatman's "everybody's PR" thread made me think of this. Remember the big meet last year in which the 5000 was won in 15-something despite the presence of a world-class field?
Well, I can top that. I've WON races overall with the following times: 5K - 18:09, 8K - 30:29, 10K - 37:36, 15K - 55:56, 1/2M - 1:20.11. These aren't necessarily PRs (2 are), but my real PRs aren't too much faster. Two observations. First, the times don't "line up" on the performance graphs, but such are the results of living in a place without many races to take advantage of. Secondly, these times are embarrassingly slow, they suck, I'm pathetic, a junior high girl could beat me etc., I know, I know, so swing away. This is sort of like Oprah asking "Does this make me look fat?" but have any of you, the vast majority of whom are considerably faster than me, ever won a race this slowly?
