I am trying to write myself a plan for HM training. I like the idea of a cycle, vs week-to-week repetition, to build in more recovery. For a 14-day period I am thinking:
LONG, double, workout, MLR, double, short, tempo, single, double, workout, MLR, double, workout, short/off
Maybe 7-8mi MPish for the tempo. As far as workouts go was thinking LT reps, fartlek @ 10k pace, possibly hills & 200s (5k-3k pace)
I am sure I'm overthinking and it's not that deep, but which days would you put which workouts on? Should I drop hills & 2s for more threshold? Any other glaring mistakes/oversights guaranteed to send me home DEVASTATED? Grateful for any input you guys have, thanks for reading
