I'm trying to ask a question and get advice but it says "please do not use profanity" when I try to hit post????
Does it say that if my post (question) is too long???
There are various other words that are blocked. What are you trying to write?
I've a 10km race coming up October 5th. 21 weeks away. My last 10km was in March. No structured training, and missed loads of weeks training due to other life factors
Course was hilly. Weight was 209lbs.
My race in October is completely flat, and my weight will be in the 180s for this.
Roughly what can expect on the day ?? I'm expecting 2 mins off my last run, buy wanted this place input.
Thanks in advance for any help .
That happens all the time because the Brojo Shi te post algorithm is not that sophisticated.
To me it happened once when I tried to post some Japanese runner names. They had some profanity build into their names.
I forgot to add, my 10k race time in march was 46:47. That was with no structured training, hilly course, and we'll overweight- 209lbs. My race in October will be completely flat, I'll be in the 180s range, and 20 weeks of training done. Roughly what can I expect on the day ?? A 2 min pb?? More ??
One that seems to get blocked is M*GA!
Any advice on the above question?? Thanks 👍
I know, like Fukimo Cacacoochi, right?
Any input on the 10k question ?? Thanks 👍
My other device was just banned until May 11 because I tried a test post using the compound word of ”ass + hole” and I spelled out the F word using an umlaut for the u like this - ü.
Start a new thread with more context about your recent training.
Done!
gotta be careful
I think it is actually kind of nice that they banned words like L!btard, B00mer, and Cuckold and other slurs. It forces people to "write out" what they mean instead of falling lazily onto these terms. If you are desperate, you can use the little symbols like f**k and we will know what you mean.
There is a poster who starts threads by calling everyone Fa6gs, and I wish he were banned. The threads get deleted but they are still a waste of everyone's time.
p.s. Also, can we ban the guy who talks about "smooth kakka" in every thread?
Which thread is it? This one?
If you're truly 30 pounds lighter (and 209 to 180 indicates that you're not underweight unless you're extremely tall), then I think you can expect more than a 2 minute improvement. Hard to say much else without more context, but 30lb alone should be in the 5-10 minute range for improvement, not even considering the training that you did to get there.
Thanks for the reply.
I'm in no way being cocky when I say I'll be in the 180 lbs range. I just know I'm going to really watch my nutrition and I'll lose the weight- because I definatly have it to lose, I'm carrying around a big belly.
I'm 6ft 2inches.
So you think I'd be looking at around 2 mins of an improvement??
I'm also staying off alcohol for the 5 months, apart from one or 2 very special family dates.
So with good, hard training, you think i can knock a few mins off??
Thanks.
