Operation Black Buck was among the most complicated aerial operations of all time; executed by the brave who risked life and limb to save our Queen’s islands.

Um, no. US B-2s out of Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri flew across the Pacific and bombed Afghanistan. Forty-four hours in the air non-stop with several refuelings.
And the Doolittle Raid was much more complex and dangerous than just about any air raid. Launching bombers off an aircraft carrier was "impossible," they had zero fighter coverage, and only enough fuel for a one-way trip and the hope that they could crash land in free China. Those men had guts to accept that mission.
God did not save the Queen.
Who let the English hold on to any territory in the western hemisphere? Even some sparsely populated rocks in the middle of the ocean.
England has been kicked out of more parts of the world than probably any other country. The Argentines aren't done with you "lot" yet.
I from Argẽntíná and I very triggered by post
Why do they risk life and limb for a village in the South Atlantic ocean? Serious question.
During the 20th century the UK was decolonizing it's empire yet they went to war to keep this.
It doesn't make sense.
For context, the UK handed Hong Kong over to China peacefully in 1997.
Hong Kong has over a million citizens, a huge financial district and a port in a very busy part of the world.
They were happy to give that up, but not a rocky outcrop with 2,000 villagers 300 miles from anywhere. What??
It's not really about that stupid Island. It's about rights to exploit Antarctica for mineral resources.
The Royal Navy's newest aircraft carrier can't even leave port without breaking down.
Oh how the once mighty have fallen.
Brexit finally broke the British Empire for good.
I’ve learned to avoid this topic when speaking with Argentines. Being from a neutral uninvolved country, I don’t see how Argentina realistically thinks they will ever get the Falklands back. Regardless, the most rational Argentine will begin to do the craziest mental gymnastics when this topic comes up.
It's kind of a crappy little place to live. It's cold, cloudy, and windy for a good part of the year. Not much of an economy which is why so many people leave for better opportunities elsewhere.
Duh, at the time Black Buck was longest.
The logistical complexities of 3 stage refueling of heavy bombers are infinitely larger than launching medium bombers on a suicide mission…
Was the Doolittle raid more impactful? yes.
Oh, they brits act real tough when they are against joke countries like Argentina. They cry like babies for help from the US when they are getting their poofter toff asses reamed by the Germans. WWI and WWII.
This from the country that tapped out to Vietnam and Afghanistan 🇺🇸😂😂😂🇺🇸
God save Diego Maradona and Leonel Messi
..as are millions of Irish. England specialized in removing people from their homes. moving others in and pointing to them as the oppressed to be defended.
Hmmm, well I seem to remember that we went bankrupt and lost our Empire because we made the moral decision to declare war on the might of Nazi Germany, when they invaded your country. Lucky we didn't accept Hitler's offer of mutual protection, otherwise the only poles left in the world would be a few remaining farm slaves in the Reichskommissariat Ostland.
But nice try Polish real estate spammer.
