Howdy LetsRun,
I may stumble onto a Grandma's entry and I'm wondering how should I approach my training in the last two months.
Background I currently run around 35-40 MPW average pace 7:00 (generally easy cruise).
I recently ran a 5k in March in 18:18 (in trainers) and I have a Half Marathon coming up this weekend. My goal time is around 1:20-1:25 (super shoes) so I can update the thread on my actual time.
My Marathon PR is 2:53:56 at Twin Cities marathon but that was in 2018 and my mileage has gone down since then.
By no means would I look to PR in the upcoming Marathon I'm just reaching out so I don't end up killing myself in the race if I get into it.
