Heart attack, wow. Did he have any known underlying heart condition?
so cruel. how old was he? like previous poster one is curious if there were underlying issues. top athlete superfit guy...cud it be something similair to that american 5 k guy who died young? forgot his name...
Date of Birth from World Athletics: December 6, 1989
Sad news, maybe underlying condition, perhaps too much caffiene (my friend had a heart attack after taking caffiene pills during a long run) or maybe diet, I have seen fit runners eat artery clogging foods like cheese, bacon, burgers etc. Doesn't matter how fit you are, if your heart goes tonight you're done for.
ok, young but not extremely young.
scary.
Super Scary. Reminder to get your cholesterol checked and an EKG every now and then. Doesn't matter how fit you are.
Tragic, ran his best times, 1:03/2:11, exactly one year ago, in Berlin and Zurich.
Horrible. I’m sure sorry. I’m older and have had high cholesterol all my life.
i finally started taking statins last week after 300/ 450 triglycerides
The side effects are terrible. I won’t eat nuts and berries either.
The hope is just knock 20-40% off the triglycerides no matter what I eat.
ive run 100,000 miles since 1977.
what happened to this poor guy was always in the back of my mind..

GTFO with this BS.
No one thinks you are clever.
man, don't take these statins, you'll die sooner because of the effects, actually you need cholesterol in the amounts you're body is making, and when you getting rid of unnecessary weight, run every day min. 8 km, stop eating processed foods, get a balanced diet than all levels will go to normal soon, as well as your cholesterol levels, this is proven several times in our surroundings.
