NBA is 70% black as well. Very few whites and basically no Hispanics or Asians. Should there be affirmative action for non-black basketball players to get a NBA representative of society?
The dumbest thing I've ever read. Tiger Woods was the only black player in a white sport and got the biggest contract from Nike by a factor of 20. Looks, talent, and charisma are what counts. And guess what? The majority of people in this country are white. If you think it's racist for white people to gravitate toward white role models, then you're a moron.

The people buying tickets and watching on T.V. want the best team possible, so the answer is no.
The owners feel they can market white WNBA players better than black ones.
How so? If the owners simply feel this way, it is racist. But if they have actual analytics, such as market analysis based on demographics and consumer behavior, this is just another professional decision. How do you know what the owners feel, by the way?
This is where often talked about structural racism comes into play.
If audiences prefer white athletes, then the sports brand companies will gravitate to them. It might not be racism from the sports brands, but the data they collect will have racist responses embedded within it and so the sports brands end up perpetuating it.
Most of the time, racism isn't about individual feelings.

Pro sports is a meritocracy when it comes to the players.
Because the entire country is talking about Clark. She is the main reason for the increased viewership of the women’s Final Four.
Why is the racism limited to women’s basketball? Sha’Carri probably has one of the top endorsement deals in track. Because she sells, she gets eyeballs and clicks.
Simone Biles is the face of gymnastics. Serena with tennis for over a decade.
Just because racism does not inform all decisions does not mean it does not exist.
It does suggest that the burden is on the person making the claim to prove racism exists in this case. Let's hear it.
It's racist if the shoe companies don't think the public wants to buy shoes endorsed by black players. Either the companies are wrong and are racist or they are right and the public is racist.
This really isn't that hard

For the nth time, the claim is not all of sports is racist when it comes to marketing.
But, if true that the only players with their own shoes in the WNBA are white, that is racist.
Now if you want to talk about ownership and the fact that not a single nonwhite has majority ownership in the NBA, NFL, of MLB......

Ownership is a club based on anything but merit

How many times must the case be made?
Once would be a good start. You haven't presented any case here. You've just pointed at the statistic "all three WNBA players with a signature shoe are white" and waved your hands at it repeatedly, hoping we'll make the series of inferences you want us to assume can be made. You're on step one, when "WNBA deals are racist" is like step 12. Others have provided very convincing arguments that the overall world of sports marketing is not racist, so you need to put together an argument that shows the WNBA is an exception. I'd doubt it to begin with since the WNBA is pretty wrapped up with the NBA that markets the hell out of black players. Why is one wing of the NBA-WNBA machine racist but the other not? You'll have to answer that question as well when you make your case, if you ever choose to make it rather than doing the standard online thing of just insisting your conclusion is clearly correct and you aren't under any obligation to support it.
I'll add as well that you're showing that you aren't super confident in your WNBA shoe deal assertion, since you've suddenly switched to the standard online tactic of confusing the issue and distracting from the issue, by now repeating a claim about no minorities being majority owners in other leagues not relevant to your original claim. You have nothing and you're just stirring the pot. God knows why but people do that a lot, particularly around race issues.

Try reading several of my comments where I explain this over and over again.
You're a hammer in search of a nail. Stop seeing problems where there aren't any.
That stupid comment does not change the fact that there is not a single black majority owner of any club in the NBA, NFL, MLB.
You need to be worth billions to own an NBA, NFL or MLB team. Not just 1 or 2 billion but more unless you go in with a group of investors. There are only 9 black billionaires in the country. Probably outside of Robert Johnson none have enough money to own a franchise. Even Oprah doesn't have enough money. So you have a pool of 1 black multi-billionaires in the country and who knows if that one person would even want to own a franchise.

Oprah could buy an WNBA franchise but would she? None are making any money.

Life isn’t fair. If the author is suggesting that it’s racist, I’d suggest looking at other sports.
Jordan still has one of the greatest endorsement deals ever. Tiger Woods is also in that same conversation. Usain Bolt is likely the highest paid track athlete. On the Women’s side, Serena Williams likely made more than any other female tennis player.
Shoe companies only care about one thing, sales. Caitlyn Clark is one of maybe 5 WBNA players I could name in the history of the league. She will sell shoes.
Of course it's racist.
