You don't think Wiley who ran 1:57 at 19 has no chance at a medal?

According to wikipedia Diaz is half Spanish (mother) and half Moroccan (father). Based on his name it makes sense (Brahim Abdelkader Díaz)
Wiley
Wiley will win - since all others ahead of her will get caught for doping. She is likely the only clean runner in the world.
We will see how that goes now that AIU is involved. But the main contenders will run 155 or lower.
None of them in their competitive life time will medal at the OG or WC. They would stand a better chance of medaling in the Pan-Am Games. I wish it wasn't so but for those four that's where it stands.
Based on events they have already competed in, this isn't even a tough call, it's Nico.
Valby has not shown she can kick. Even Infeld had to kick hard for her bronze. If you speculatively add the marathon to the conversation, I'd be open to adding Valby to this conversation.
Wiley is more likey to miss the team than win a medal. She got beat by Allie Wilson indoors. Other US women that could take one of the US spots over Wiley include Mu, Akins, Rogers, Ajee Wilson, Sage Hurta-Klecker, and Michaela Rose (who I think will make the team at 800m. There are a handful of other women who might surprise as well, the Stanford ladies, and a few other collegians plus perhaps a surprise run from Kaela Edwards, Olivia Baker or Kate Grace. That's just to make the team at 800m. The 1500 still has Hiltz, ESP, Cranny (last year's fastest american), Mu, Sinclair Johnson, and others just to make the team and finish 4-5 seconds behind Kipyegon or others. Any discussion that she has room to improve due to her age is applicable to all the top 800m women in the world plus a whole generation of up and coming ethiopians at 1500m.
Tuohy needs to take the next step as a pro before even talking medals.
Nico is running world class times and hanging in workouts and races with other potential medalists. He's the closest now, thus the most likely. He's got as much potential for improvement as the others here.
Wiley is running faster times than current world class runners did at her age. Logically, she will be running 1:55/3:54 in a few years.
