Joe Klecker just ran 27:08 for 10k at the Ten a few weeks ago, slick. He’s top 5 in the US for the 10k and may be able to sneak in for an Olympic slot at the trials. How is that not doing well?
She’s in trouble, she has 3 AR (2m, 5k, 10k) and had the 3k before ESP broke it 2 weeks ago. She’s been to 4 world championships and arguably ran her worst race of the season in those meets. Now injuries. She’s still in her prime, I wish her the best but After seeing her get destroyed in the mill rose 2m by Wudu and Muir I’ve given up thinking she can medal. I’m jumping on the Valby train as our best rising hope (aside from ESP) to medal.
I don’t understand this talk about Monson. This is completely out-of-left-field or I somehow fell completely out-of-the-loop. When did she get injured?? She just ran the 10 a week or two ago, and all we heard was she had a stomach bug, correct?
Neither have been running much for the past weeks and month as per Strava entries. Not great timing . How bad is it. And who else is injured there ?
