1 picking UConn to win it all, 2 picking South Carolina

With the top seeds getting home court advantage it stands to reason that there are few upsets on the women's side. Need to go to neutral courts
If you look at men’s bracket, only 4 teams outside of 1-4 seeds got to sweet 16. On women’s side, it’s only 3 teams. Doesn’t seem too different to me.
My favorite was ESPN saying after day one that three players had no correct picks. I’m trying to get inside the head of people who picked two 16 seeds to beat the 1s, and all kinds of other upsets, but drew the line at picking Oakland over Kentucky.
The higher seed won 44 of 48 games. So why is everyone so bad at prediction?
Yeah, I missed three of those four upsets, and wrongly predicted five upsets. (Three of those were 8 v 9.)
Andraya Carter is currently in the 26th percentile in the contest.

And after Iowa wins it all… they’ll have zero correct brackets. Go Hawks!
My missed picks: I picked Utah over Gonzaga, UMd over ISU, Louisville over MTSU, and OSU beating Duke then UConn before losing to USC.
#16 seeds: men's - 2 victories; women's - 1 victory
#15 seeds: men's - 10 victories; women's - 0 victories
#14 seeds: men's - 22 victories; women's - 0 victories
#13 seeds: men's - 31 victories; women's 7 victories
Seems very different to me. Very predictable. Top-4 seeds are 424-8 in the first round; the top-3 seeds are 323-1. Boring.
While there were some great upsets in the round of 64, the brackets have really course-corrected (the "better" teams winning in the round of 32).
Each matchup should add up to 5 at this point (1 v. 4 and 2 v. 3), and with 8 matchups it should total 40. The men's add up to 53 (in large part because of NC State (11)). The women's add up to 46.
On the men's side 4 of 8 matchups are as expected, with two more being 1 v. 5 instead of 1 v. 4
On the women's side you have 5 of 8 as expected, with two more 1 v. 5.
The men have 12 of 16 predicted teams still alive. The women have 13 of 16.
I would guess these are the most "as predicted" tournaments in years.
