Both SEC and Pac-12 had more viewers for the women's tournament than the men's tournament. SEC -- women 1,960k, men 1,782k. Pac-12 -- women 1,442k, men 1,017k.
I think you have some issues my man. I suspect you honestly hate women.
Some good storylines in the women’s game this year. The Caitlin Clark hype train, Paige Bueckers healthy and balling out, South Carolina once again an undefeated Goliath with Dawn Staley on a revenge tour, Angel Reese and Kim Mulkey both being rather…divisive, 18 year old freshman JuJu Watkins averaging 27 ppg and emerging as the next big star… Glad I’m capable of enjoying it even though they’re not as big and strong as the men.
It's not about wokeness, it's about money. ESPN is carrying all the NCAAW games, so they're going to promote them all to drive traffic to their networks.
They will cover the men's results & highlights as well, but those games are CBS and Turner networks, so they have no incentive to drive traffic to watching them live.
Are you free marketers or what? They're showing it because Caitlin Clark has stirred up a great deal of interest in her and women's college basketball in general. The ratings and attendance reflect it. If you don't like it, don't watch it. But you want a command economy in which only what you like is allowed to appear on newspapers, magazines, websites, and tv.
You know something ESPN is promoting the heck out of and constantly "shoving it down our throats" and that no one wants to watch it, that's the Pat McAfee show. That is absolutely beyond annoying on their website. Every article comes up with some incompetent interview or "take" by this punter. Who wants that?

I get so tired of seeing Pat McAfee's face when I open up the ESPN website.
It's almost like ESPN signed a 920 million, eight-year deal to have the exclusive rights to women's march madness and want to generate a return on that investment.
It’s so annoying. Nobody cares. But it’s all over espn on their front page and reports. Espn is woke
Lemme guess- you'll be the same guy to lose his mind if a transgender girl is allowed to play with the women because...." WE NEED TO SAVE WOMEN'S SPORTS! SAVING WOMEN'S SPORTS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING OF ALL!!!!"

Annoying? Propaganda works. There was a thread on here regarding C Clark doing extremely well as NCAA D1 basketball player, playing against men. Before any women were allowed any combat jobs in U.S. military, film G.I. Jane. After film was released THEN female members of U.S. Congress pushed for women in combat and we know film G.I. Jane was successful propaganda because women now have combat jobs, U.S. military.

I think it's good major outlets are giving more attention to women's basketball.
One of the reasons it's not watched is because it's not well covered.
