Have a 3200 and 4x8 race tmr. My butt/hamsrtings/quads are all very sore bc one of my coaches had us do a bunch of lunges and squats. It’s getting better bc we did that a day ago or so but how can I be fresh?

You probably won't be completely unsore. The best you can do is to rest or do a short slow jog today and get as much sleep tonight as you can.

are you sure you weren't doing other curricular activities?

You will run better when sore as long as you as have the right mindset. You’ve got muscle tension primed already.
