It’s laughable that Rowling is the voice you choose to express a rational thought when she resorts to such base imagery of a man wearing lipstick with his genitalia exposed, preying on women in locker rooms as her version of transgenderism.
JK Rowling made this post today that sums up the position of me and many other grownups who've given a lot of thought to the issues at hand, are very well informed, and have been active supporters of true diversity, inclusion and acceptance for all a lot longer than Sadie Schreiner, Lia Thomas, CeCe Telfer and the majority of today's most extreme trans activists have been alive:
I believe everyone should be free to express themselves however they wish, dress however they please, call themselves whatever they want, sleep with any consenting adult who wishes to sleep with them, and that trans-identified people should have the same protections regarding employment, housing, freedom of speech and personal safety every other citizen is entitled to.
But this isn’t nearly enough for the dominant strain of trans activism, which asserts that unless freedom of speech is removed from dissenters, unless trans-identified men are permitted to strip away women’s rights - with particular reference to single sex sports and spaces like rape crisis centres, prison cells, hospital wards, changing rooms and public bathrooms - until we all bow down to their neo-religion, accept their pseudo-scientific claims, embrace their circular reasoning, and agree with them when they claim that trans people (particularly the big strong strapping aggressive male ones) are more oppressed, more at risk, and more vulnerable than any other group in society.
This is nonsense. 99.9% of the world knows it's nonsense. The emperor is naked. He might be wearing lipstick, but his balls are swinging in plain sight.
That is a profound statement from JK Rowling. However, she is blind to how her attitude and those of others of her social and political ilk have led directly to the problems we now have.
”I believe everyone should be free to express themselves however they wish, dress however they please, call themselves whatever they want, sleep with any consenting adult who wishes to sleep with them.”
A world that allows everything listed above will inevitably lead to men and women, pretending to be each other, and forcing their personal identity on everyone else. In fact, liberals have helped to build the world. We have now, even if they are as appalled, as I am about men, pretending to be women and entering sporting competitions.
Pretty hilarious honestly. What a boss. Maybe he can win D3 Nats!
I think we would all welcome such an outcome so that the hateful bigots could have their moment of supreme outrage, as they pretend to care so much about justice when more important cases of injustice mean nothing to them.
I’ve heard that reasoning so often I am beginning to wonder if there is some sort of talking point that the activists all got. Completely fatuous reasoning. Just because there may be worse things in the world going on than a man competing as a woman, doesn’t mean that we should all be OK with it. No right thinking person should allow this reasoning to throw them off.

Good for her. I feel a great deal of joy when people can be who they feel they should be. I'm not sure why others want to try and suppress that kind of self-realization.
Why would it be misogynistic to recognize the very real performance gap between men and women? I love running because I have the framework of female running to compete within. To me, suggesting that women are "inferior" because their records are slower than men's is like telling a male distance runner that he is inferior because horses can run faster than him in horse races. Male performance has nothing to do with me, in the same way that male runners dont seem particularly affected by the existence of horses that can beat their PRs. What would ACTUALLY be misogynistic is to suggest that women's competition doesn't really matter because men are faster than women. However, that seems to be the implication of allowing certain men to participate in female competition -- that it doesn't really matter, and so women should give up their right to sex-segregated competion.
IT IS sexist to have female and male divisions. Its treating people different because of their Sex. Humans should be treated equal. Female divisions give prices to slow humans. Its worse than dei or female quota
That said, I do feel sorry for this fellow. I’m sorry for him that he lives in a culture that encourages him onward in this behavior, rather than helping him to solve it.
Here too. Again, for you, it's not about fairness, at least not in sum. It's about your hatred and refusal to let them live how they want. You don't accept it; you feel as if they're forcing their beliefs on you whereas in reality they just want to be left alone and you can't allow that, you need to force your beliefs onto them.
At least you're open about it, I guess.
You’re wrong. They don’t want to just be left alone. The rest of us have to referred to them by their chosen pronouns. The rest of us have to welcome them into whatever competition they want. Psychiatrists or pressured, upon pain of losing their jobs, to go along with anyone who thinks they might need transitioning. This is not being left alone, this is forcing me to acknowledge them.
I am very open that I do not accept transgenderism as legitimate. I consider it to be a serious, psychological and emotional problem that they need help with. I am not going to pretend that it’s normal or good. Just because we feel something does not make it legitimate or good, or me, and the rest of the world has to rearrange his self to suit us.
You really struggle with basic ideas if you think she became a woman. How exactly did she do that? Why do you say she is a girl when she has Y chromosomes and a penis?
If a biological girl suddenly grows a beard, it's because she went on testosterone, which is doping, so no, she should not compete against girls.
As with basically all arguments against transgender participation in sports, the underlying view is this: "You really struggle with basic ideas if you think she became a woman."
I'm sorry, but you shouldn't get to decide on whether transgender individuals can compete when you don't even acknowledge that transgenderism is possible.
I work with transgender people. I teach transgender youth. It is a real thing. They live their days completely as one gender, so they should also be that gender when they run around a track.
You expect us to wave some magic wand that turns them into boys for a 12 second 100m race and then wave it again to turn them back into girls. Or worse yet, you insist on calling them "biological males" even though every decent person in their lives sees them as women.
Exercise some humanity.
You should exercise some humanity by being honest with these people. Yes, transgender people are real; they are people of one sex who desperately want to be another. You should be honest enough to explain that they will never be that other sex, that they can dress and present that way to some degree, but that some areas will be off limits. Competitive sports is one of those areas.

The problem is that there is no way to prove someone is transgender. So an existing male sex-predator, of whom there are obviously many, can now latch on to transgenderism as a way to increase his access to females, against their will, but with legal protection. If you met such a person, you might say they "aren't really trans", but it doesn't matter. Your ideology gives them that protection. And some of them are taking advantage of it.
Former University of Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines recalled an experience she had with transgender swimmer Lia Thomas in the locker room after a match last year.
Sadie is a woman, so she is running in the women’s championship.
Would you be OK with Jakob Ingebrigtsen identifying as a woman and winning the 800m, 1500m, 5000m, 10000m, and maybe even the 400m and Marathon at the next Olympics?
ffs that is not how this works. Jakob would not be allowed to compete
You really struggle with basic ideas if you need to ask this question.
She was born a man and became a woman. That's what "change" means. The relevant factor is not biological sex. It's gender. She's a girl. She runs with girls.
Let's say a "biological girl" changed gender to a male and grew a beard. You would want that runner competing against girls? No. It would be ridiculous.

how do you know she has a penis.... freaking creep

typical fascist pig. You want to dictate to others how they live. Pathetic but typical from this deplorable filled site
