Wow, that was exciting, congrats to Elle. She beat some real heavy hitters in that race, incredible.
Wonder what that guy who deemed passing on the turn a mistake thinks now
So happy for her!
Give her a Black page.
She perfectly executed a very basic strategy (and apparently was in the shape to do so!). I’d say more disciplined than brilliant. There were no places to really have to adjust the strategy of following the fast pace then kicking at the end.
simple. Elegant. Win.
superstar runners need to rethink the front running strategy.
3K might be the perfect distance for her, maybe not quite fast enough for the 1500 or enough strength/endurance for the 5K. Which event should she focus on outdoors?
Not fishy. If you actually watched her race all year you'd know she was at least in medal contention. Then Tsegay was dumb enough to try to lead wire to wire, serving as a rabbit to keep Muir out of the finishing kick. Nothing fishy about it, other than how Tsegay should have more experience than this.
Actually she's half French and half British
She is also a mom
that run made me feel love in my cold, cold heart
she should pitch the stupid glasses
Would never call Tsegay dumb - she just seemed flat compared to normal. Needed to be farther ahead and drop the pack, she's good enough to do that. ESP smashed it though, amazing.

I hope every top high school and college American runner watches the video of this race. Dreams can come true!
Such a smart race!! Very excited to see her in Paris in the 1500!

Hull tried to push her over at the start. Unfazed run the rail to a smart race and world class close. Amazing race.

Completely bananas, but not really — she was primed to pounce and pounce she did! God bless her. What an effort! Let's be honest, she had a baby less than a year ago...she's still getting in shape. Watch out Olympics!
