I am curious what other people are doing for training these days.
I thought it would be interesting to have a thread where people could just post what they did TODAY. This is not the thread to tell stories or expound on plans/dreams for the future. Just tell us what you did today, what you are training for, and your age.
Example: I ran a somewhat hilly 18 miles at 7:42 pace. I am training for Boston. I am 42 years old.
p.s. What I actually did today was ride a stationary bike for 30 minutes (warm-up) and then row 5km in 19:17 (on the ERG); a good workout for me. I am training for general health/fitness. I am 51.
This is as good as strava. We can post our training on this thread. Who needs strava!
Thanks but not quite. I am sure Strava is great (though I have never used it).
I am especially curious what people are training for. Sadly, in my case I am really not racing anymore, but it motivates me to hear what others are doing...
p.s. Today I ran 7.5 miles in the rain (and dark) after work. 7:55 pace average? Still 51 years old.

I did a tempo ladder/progression of 4, 5, 6, 6, 5, 4 minutes off of 1 minute recovery on the treadmill (elev. 7000'). Started at 7:20 to 6:50 on the first one, and after that 6:50-6:40. Last 4 were 6:30-35. Mid 60s, aiming for about 1:24 for the HM next month.
