I'm always on the lookout for some extra cushioning for my easy runs. Most of the shoes that "work" for my feet are not very comfortable as slower paces. However, I get hot spots under the metatarsal area when I use highly cusioned shoes. I've tried Asics Gel Numbus (25 and 26), Hoka Clifton and Bondi, and Brooks Glycerin and Ghost Max. Maybe I'm the problem?
