he may be the real deal but have you seen freddy collins
anyway biggest disappointments: kevin harvey, kevin murphy, American (shoutout shortie 800 runner), Mitchell Burr and the US Army, Nathan Davis running a normal track race, Todd Etters resume outside of beating Laf every year, Lehigh keeping fresh for relays, Gabe Sanders development, Kevin Donners Legacy, the naval academy putting the absolute mid in mid distance
overachievers: Foster Malleck stock circa 2021, Colgate, whoever tf from Bucknell distance who eaked out those big 8th place points

Epic Fails:
Gabe Sanders sprint squad
American's 5th year seniors
Army's distance runners above 800m
PA schools getting ROCKED by PA athletes Dakin Ebmeyer and Liam Davis, both at Colgate
Lehigh women's 4x8 - 1st place outdoors, returned everyone, places 7th
Lafayette men DEAD LAST - not surprising but embarrassing nonetheless.
Overachievers:
Colgate's former coach Kim Keenan-Kirkpatrick - recruited all their freshmen before getting non-renewed by Chelsea France
Holy Cross - 5th place men
Liam Lyons - 2nd in the mile w/ a great kick as a soph. In that kind of race, he beats Collins and Schneider 100 times out of 100
BU women's throws
Charlotte Richman - recruited to Army for basketball, 25 second PR to place 2nd in 5k w/ 16:12 as a sophomore
I unironically agree. They have a young distance team yet scored in every men's and women's distance event except the 800m (which was the most competitive year in PLC history in the 800).
They have a really balanced team across all events. It's just not 2009 anymore and the league is more competitive. It's hard to go against the league of nations (BU) with no scholarships (men) or little scholarships (women).

You gotta be on the spectrum to think Lyons would beat Collins or a healthy Schneider ever. Great race from Lyons but if BU was at full force and if Keeny wasn’t DQed then Lyons would have taken 5th.

His last 400 was 55.46. His last 600m was 1:24.05. That's extremely impressive. His last 800m was 1:54.82. Most of it was lane 2.
Collins 800m PR is 1:57. He can probably run a little faster but he does not have the speed to drop a 1:23 for 600m to beat Lyons 1:24.0.
Schneider ran 1:55.12 in the 4x8. He couldn't have been too sick/hurt if the coach was comfortable tripling him with both relays.
Overachieving - Jaime Cook. Navy's men scored at least 6 points in EVERY EVENT. They scored 10 or more in all but 3 events. Navy nearly won by 100 points and his hurdler won the flat 60m too. The women dominated as well.
Underachieving - Curcio of Lafayette. Her throwers scored 2 total points combined between men and women. She is the director of the program, 30 years of experience, her teams get LAST PLACE every year and her athletes only produce 2 points....how does she still have a job?

"Colgate's former coach Kim Keenan-Kirkpatrick " Wasn't she the reason Karmela Cardosa left Syracuse for South Carolina? She did work with the basketball team and there were definitely some issues. Posting for a friend.

For the last decade, Article 6.3 of the NCAA Manual has required athletic programs to conduct some form of an “exit interview” (or an end-of-the-season interview) with athletes leaving their programs. Did Syracuse comply with...
"Over the weekend, Syracuse.com took the athletic director, John Wildhack, to task in an editorial, asking: “Why didn’t Wildhack know [about allegations of abusive behavior and unwanted physical contact] in real time? Isn’t it his job to know?” It became even crazier when the Athletic reported that deputy athletics director/senior woman administrator Kimberly Keenan-Kirkpatrick may have witnessed some of this behavior. Players claimed they had been vocalizing their concerns about inappropriate behavior by the head coach for 10 years. Keenan-Kirkpatrick resigned in the last few days. It appears none of the player’s concerns ever made it to the athletic director’s office."
