60ish? Depends how I feel lol
It was in the low 50s this morning and raining steadily for my workout in Seattle. I did my warmup in a light jacket over a t-shirt. I did the workout in the tee and ran home shirtless on my cool- down because everything was soaked.
Low 50s sometimes if I am pushing the pace. Otherwise, above 65.
I live in central Texas, and this year we hit 60 consecutive days with temps over 100, so I’m not sure there was a single shirt on day this summer and most of this fall. But after all of that, it started to feel chilly around 70 degrees so the shirt was on. Eventually got used to it and now the shirt is off above 65, 65-75 is still a gray zone.
When there are girls around and I’m doing a workout
20-25C+ depending on humidity and sun
If not raining: 40°F
If raining : 50°F
My body is extremely metabolically inefficient. I generate an abnormally high amount of heat when I exercise. At the gym, sweat flys off of me when I am on the treadmill or ellipicial. The floor gets satratrated.
If you have a furry upper body you can do it all year round.
Never these days, but back in the day whenever it was hot and humid. Probably > 25C.
At 60 celsius I would consider it.
58-62
I am a big sweater and it seems to have gotten worse with age so the shirt is off at 55
55 and up shirtless
55 shirt comes on
45 light pair of gloves
37 light breaker top and bottom
20 hat and heavy pair of gloves
5 scarf to partially cover face or treadmill indoors.
Is this why all the runners in hot areas (especially the women) have terrible skin and look 50 years old? Excess sun is not good for you
I think running shirtless will be my running goal for 2024. I haven’t run shirtless in 15-20 years except for a mile this summer when it was early, dark and no one was out. I need to get in shape enough to pull it off.
feels like 75 - so around 24c
That's pretty warm compared to your comrades in Russia 🇷🇺
50+ degrees. Helps cut down on laundry. *Edit: I usually run at 5:30AM or so when it is dark and desolate. Not that I care if someone sees me running shirtless.
I'm the opposite on rain/non-rain
If raining: 40F
If not raining: 50F
I get nipple chafe in the rain so I will go shirtless at a colder temp to avoid. The rain finds a way.
