However, it is undeniable that some of their athletes have won the biggest races I.e. everything from Grayson Murphy dominating the VK to coaching winners of UTMB and Western States. They produce champions and could probably charge 1,000.00 a month like Jason Koop if they wanted to. I think they’re both good people generally and will probably be good for Ali, specifically with their history of coaching athletes who have struggled with eating disorders.

When I first started heckling David Roche for his confidently inane and obviously unedited bluster in Trail Runner Magazine, the stubborn humanist in me as usual whispered at me to be nice.

They're paying for the most "scientific" training. If you listen to his podcast he just needs over the science. While currently the two best hundred mile mountain runners in the US (Zach Miller and Jim Walmsley) just bang out 20 mile long runs in the mountains crushing vert. So to me I don't know why so ultra athletes spend so much money just to be told to run a lot in the mountains.
