If you want to be a WR holder in the mile or marathon there are timeless and eternal moral energetic resonances/frequencies to follow:
1) No sex except for married couples and even then not for pleasure and only for reproduction only!
2) No alcohol/whiskey/wine/beer from cradle to the grave.
3) No drugs like PEDs or recreational like marijuana, heroine, cocaine etc.
4) Pray constantly and unceasingly to Allah/God. In everything pray, and, give thanks. A WR holder that doesn't pray simply just can't be a WR holder or otherwise the event in which he/she is WR holder in is a weak event unlike the mile and marathon.

Look to be honest, Rojo is not insulting or disrespecting Sammy Wanjiru. The facts are that Sammy was indeed an immoral and wicked young man who dabbled in all the gamut of depravity you can think of from sex to drugs (not PEDs but probably recreational) and alcohol. Add gambling to that as well. How's that disrespectful when these are all facts about Wanjiru?
Instead, I think Rojo is doing a good job teaching all the young kids on this forum to adhere strictly to the narrow righteous path of God's/Allah's if they wanna have even just 1% chance in succeeding in not only sport but other areas of life and professions outside sport.
Wanjiru's name needed to be mentioned in order that people on this forum do not ever forget the Satanic dangers and pitfalls of fame and success and how quickly it can gobble you up as if thrown into a lion's den.
I'm of the view that between deterrence and education, education is a far more powerful tool only if it has the power to sting and prick one's conscience as hard as possible. Using the name Wanjiru is necessary to precisely hurt one's conscience in order to feel enough pain, fear hence reverence for God/Allah not to go down the path of Wanjiru!

I love such morally uplifting posts, kudos to you dear Rojo. We need more men of moral integrity and honor like Kelvin Kiptum, his father, and you publicizing them. Amazing!
No wonder you are one of those who probably couldn't stomach EL G being a clean mile and 1500m WR holder right? You need to learn to be more trusting and believing while not losing your ability to question and doubt truly morally evil and wicked men and women. This means you need to hone your gut instinct, in the absence of anthropogenic RF and EMF, to pinpoint which kind of human traits and behaviors are worthy of your trust and which isn't. You should make your issue to be about knowing how to psychoanalyze and mind-read someone rather than just a blanket distrust of everybody including all pastors.
Really didn't need to stomp on Wanjiru's grave in the title of the thread. Reports about Wanjiru's drinking affecting his running and having something to do with his death are not much more than rumors. Some said that Wanjiru only drank when he had time off and did not drink when he was training. Others said that he was an alcoholic. And Wanjiru broke the 1/2 marathon WR when he was 18. He was a very young man when he came into a lot of money and fame. And a lot of people believe that he was murdered over his money by a jealous wife (Wanjiru married Mary Wacera and was also married to another woman).
No I denounce the mindless killing and shedding of blood of innocent folks all over the world. Hamas would be going to hell lake of fire for their atrocities?

Rojo, was it really necessary for you to start a thread shi*ting on Sammy Wanjiru? AS you doing so is very disrespectful AS you didn't need to mention Sammy Wanjiru when you mentioned that Kiptum does not drink alcohol AS doing so is disrespectful

Why the f do Muslims always have to bring Allah into everything. It's like every Muslim I've met in my life is as devout as the Evangelical Christians. Worse though because they incessantly push their religioiont on us. And even worse given the recent killings in the name of Allah.
Dude, take your Islamic rhetoric elsewhere this is a running forum for fs sake
From what I gather, the spelling of Kiptum varies like many Kenyan names, and is basically the same name as Kiptoo. It would be more fun if he spelled it that way and we could write Kip-2 and so forth.
True. Sammy liked to party and enjoy the ladies but he didn’t deserve to be murdered.
As for the booze thing, I represent 14 world-class Kenyan athletes. I am quite certain 11 of my 14 have never tasted even a drop of alcohol in their lives.
Hey better to be devout Christian or Muslim than a loose hoe? Discipline always trumps freedom. Eliud Kipchoge once said true freedom is discipline itself. Whose the King of the Mile? It's still El G after 25 years! And that's only because he loved Allah/God.
And those killings aren't from God. You need to do the separation.

rojo doesn't care how low he goes, so long as he trolls for clicks
It's impossible to never have a drop of alcohol. There are fermenting bacteria everywhere. Anything with sugar is going to end up with some ethanol in it. If you've had a glass of orange juice, you've had a drop of alcohol.
^ this is true. What kind of low life thinks they can downvote it false? Hey moran downvoter, your own intestines make alcohol, up to a drink a day. Your own intestines!
Okay how about I say that Rojo was saying that Kelvin had never had a drop of 'anthropogenic alcohol or ethanol constituents'? Does that sound better now? Naturally synthesized alcohol in the gut works just fine and not harmful. The same is with natural occurring RF and EMFs from the sun, stars and galaxies, these cause death at a far lower rate than anthropogenic ones from HSPA, VoLTE and NR or telecommunication mobile systems. You would always choose to die in your sleep by forces of nature from celestial background RF and EMFs and not by cancer due to anthropogenic HSPA, VoLTE and NR!
“I don’t have much to say…I am just a proud father full of joy. Everything I taught Kiptum, he obeyed and followed them to the letter. Ever since I was born, I have never tasted alcohol. This was an advice I was given by my parents, which I adhered to and passed down the same to Kelvin. My parents, even though they are no longer alive, I am proud of them for showing me the right away,” said his dad.
PS. One of the articles I read tonight says he has a 7-year old son so I'm going to say it's more like that he's 26 (which is what a source told Jonathan this weekend) rather than 23.
To be fair, the father wouldn't know.
The curiousity that killed the cat is the same thing that leads the youth to experiment in certain things.
I'd be hard pressed to believe that this guy has never tasted alcohol. These are not the 1990s anymore. Girls drink like their lives depend on it and for a 23 year old men to claim that he knows not how alcohol tastes, that's a bit of a stretch.
If true, he's one of a kind.
I had one drink until I was 30. Now in my 40’s, less than 50 drinks in my life.
No religious/cultural motivations, other than not getting kicked off my HS CC team. Just never really started, don’t really know why, just not interested.
I do know three other people, other than recovered alcoholics, that don’t drink at all now, but they did drink for a while in their college years.
