i have to imagine he’s definitely in sub 13 fitness. perhaps even around 12:55, but it mostly depends what the race ends up looking like. if he gets dragged out into no man’s land by a fast race, it’s gonna be harder to stay on.

i give it a 75% chance of going sub 13.
If he’s definitely in sub 13 fitness why didn’t he make the worlds team? I don’t think he beats Centro’s 13:00 personal best
I think that he's fit enough. If the race is paced out at 12:50, he's got a great shot of sitting in and hanging on. If it's paced at 12:40, he's going to have a real challenge. He's a strength based 3:32 guy, so a 12:5x would be of no surprise.
Dewpoint will be 62 (48% humidity) at the start. I think these guys are so fit it won’t be a major effect.
and Kypiegon is attempting a WR. I dont think Kiplimo/Aregawi are going to watch only on a Mediterranean town with 84.2 degree contant all the latest days.
