I’m not telling you. If I told you then you’d only use the information to become faster, and at the end of the day my loyalty lies with Huntington. Don’t ask me another question like this.
Anyone know what is up with the open position at LC State? It has been open for like a year now and still hasn't been filled. Not the greatest pay in the world but it looks like a solid Associate Head position for sprints/hurdles. Roster has some nice talent on it too. Seems like one of the more desirable NAIA positions out there which is why I question its extended vacancy

Who wants to move to Idaho for an associate sprints/hurdles position? I agree it’s probably a nice job and LC State is a good school, but when you look at the geography of the NAIA it doesn’t surprise me that potential candidates aren’t willing to move their families across the country for an associate role.
LC State is not in the top three in their own conference this year (C of I, EOU and SOU). While their mid-distance guys ran well in the spring, their 5K-10K guys were not very good. I see them hard-locked at fourth in the CCC this year unless one of the top three teams blows up at Conference.

Who’s all returning to SOU. Half of their top guys didn’t race during track.

Yeah I would have to see the roster for this upcoming season before I slot them ahead of LC
Keep an eye on the Crossroads League. Good programs and good coaches. I wouldn't be surprised if IWU wins it on the men's side. Grace is tough and Goshen should be solid with Kemboi upfront. I'd expect Huntington women to dominate. From what is being talked about they have transfers coming in that will be huge and they have the best runner in the country, arguably in all divisions with Addy Wiley. Taylor is really good too.
It is worth watch the west coast. Milligan gets transfers every year and always seem to reload.
Taylor women were completely dominant in XC, but then didn’t have much success (comparatively) in track this spring. Did they redshirt some of their women during track?

Even then, if they all were missing significant time in track I’m not sure what I’d think about them coming into cross country.
One way or another I’m not very high on Lewis-Clark unless they have some transfers coming in. Top long distance guy was 15:14/31:37. Even in the 1500 their best runner was only 3:54 which isn’t great. They only had one other guy under 15:30 and 32:00, too.
