It’s hysterical when White people are too scared to travel to the big city because a minority might do something to them. Are they really planning to hang out with gang bangers there or try to pull a fast one on a drug deal?
Have you ever even been to big city like NYC ? There are rapes and robberies that happen weekly not too far from the metro. Also yes, around poor white people I haven’t got a feeling , or experience of being robbed yet. Not even in Mexican neibhorhoods. But the poor black neighborhoods there’s a toxic , dangerous , unhealthy vibe just being there. (Experience being robbed by hoodlums during daytime)
Yes, I’ve been to many big cities all over the world, including NYC multiple times. In fact, I have lived in the biggest cities of CA and MN for 30 years and have never been robbed, beaten, or shot despite working in some of the “roughest” parts of those cities.

Living in a big city is not equal to being in a dangerous neighborhood. Obviously , when white people talk about Chicago they’re not talking about the Gold Coast. There’s a reason why rural town gas stations do not have bulletproof glass at the counter while ones in poor African American neighborhoods do. It’s because of anything ranging from petty crime to robbery to a random murder being statistically more likely. The gang culture and destructive “I don’t care about anything” mentality.
I’ve worked in the some of the most “dangerous” parts of these cities. Where did you get robbed in NYC. You really are daft if you’re comparing gas stations in different crime areas. Rural violent crime and drug use is up too but it doesn’t get national attention. My dad’s place was robbed in a city of 2000 people. 99 percent white.
“At nearly 600 square miles, Guthrie County is 97 percent white, with about as many youth as seniors. With a median income of $52,702 and a poverty rate around 11 percent, it is not among Iowa's poorest counties. Yet widespread addiction, crime and neglect have caused some to use the term "rural ghetto" to describe what's happening in parts of Bagley, Bayard, Casey, Jamaica, Menlo, Panora, Stuart and Yale, small towns within the county, locals say.”
”Gries estimates he's been to about 75 percent of the homes in Casey, because of either drugs, domestic disturbances or welfare checks.”

”Gries said he's made 350 drug arrests in his six years in Guthrie County — most of them for meth, marijuana and a mix of other drugs. That's roughly one in every 30 county residents. The county's six other deputies make similar numbers of arrests.”
Who commits the murders in Chicago? Chicago is a city that’s (close enough to) basically 30% each black, Hispanic and white, but that’s not the demographics of the perpetrators.
Chicago is still safer for black people than white people despite it being prone to turning into Chiraq anytime soon. Because it’s safer for black people than whites there are no travel advisories.
You’ve been to chicago once probably. But your media needs you to be outraged.
I’ve been to Chicago at least 20 times in my life…I live about 300 miles away. I used to love traveling there for a 2 or 3 night stay, but I won’t be going back again anytime in the foreseeable future. The last time I was there even the “Magnificent Mile” had become a dystopian hellscape. Empty storefronts, filthy sidewalks, aggressive panhandling, and a generally depressing and oppressive atmosphere. No thanks.
The people who claim that nothing has changed are either stone blind or raving liberal syncopates who are loathe to admit that Democrats are failing the city.
Lived in Chicago my whole life. This is a lie. North Michigan Ave. is as full as it's ever been. Why make stuff up?

Google “magnificent mile store closings” and you’ll find ample evidence for my “empty storefronts” claim.
Did you hear the news? The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People thinks the entire state of Florida is hostile to black people. No sunshine for blacks in the Sunshine State.
“The Hill We Climb” was challenged by the parent of two students at Bob Graham Education Center in Miami Lakes. It was not immediately clear why the parent objected to Gorman's poem.
