I believe it's generally accepted here that he's the slightly faster brother. It'd be a shame to not see him take a crack at 2 miles or 5k.

I know that he's doing a mile at some point but you know what I mean
He's going to beat that norwegian guy at worlds
he's racing another 1500 at the la grand prix and then a mile at one of the national meets. In their latest video they say they're going after records, but Leo isn't going anywhere near Kessler's 3:34. So Lex taking the Burn's 5k away is all we can hope for.
Portland Track Festival is coming up June 3-4 . . . stay tuned . . .
Latest L & L says two more races 1,500 Friday night at UCLA for Leo. Lex runs the 5k.
Then they both come back for high school nationals. Season ends.
Was this plan worth not running for your high school team to do?
you know something bro
Thx for the heads up.
Just watched the video.
Leo in either the 1500 B or C race around 8pm Friday night . . . then Lex an hour later in the 5k.
Entry lists for these races have yet to be posted (Monday night) but L&L said they are loaded . . . and Lex confirmed he again will be going after the hs record . . .
Final race will be the NON mile on 6/17 Sat . . . the day after NBHS graduation ceremonies . . . then that's a wrap for the season . . . summer running camp this year at Flagstaff before off to Stanford.
However, if their races don't go well this Friday . . . or if they do, but the guys don't want to wait until June 17th to race again . . . the PTF on June 3-4 is a fantastic distance carnival which has seen many a hs prs over the years . . . most notably Hobbs Kessler's 3:34.36 two years ago . . .
NON schedule shows the mile championship races are 6/18 Sun . . . so plenty of time to catch a flight to OR the day after graduation.
However . . .
L&L couldn't schedule in the Brooks PR meet since that event is scheduled for 6/14 Wed . . . right in the middle of their last week of school.
Entries now posted (see Men's 1500 B heat for Leo):
Leo in with 3:34 - 3:37 guys who should pull him well below his 3:39 pr . . . while Lex will enjoy the privilege of racing Kincaid, Nur and a host of low-13 guys who likely will pull him well below Burn's recent 5k hs record . . . just hope he doesn't go out too fast then rig at the end . . .
