Actually, it doesn't. You suck for posting this. It is a super lean hot sauce with a long heritage using 3 simple ingredients, cultivating the subtle flavor of aged peppers using oak casks. I've been to Avery Island and it was beautiful. Do you want to name one of your favorites?
Does anyone have any stories about overdosing on sauce?
Yes actually. A long time ago I had a mixed drink and it was: vodka, tomato juice, TABASCO and ice with a celery stick. I said "just a bit of tabasco!". The person who made the drink must have put in at least 5cl of tabasco... it was disgusting tbh.

Tabasco is dominated by vinegar and, to my taste buds, has minimal chili taste and no kick other than a vinegar kick, which I don't like unless it's very subtle. I love hot sauces, but have never put Tabasco on anything and thought it made the taste better. I don't have any particular favorites, just that Tabasco stands out at the bottom of all the ones I've ever tried.

Do you not pick up on the oak in the aged pepper mash? The beauty is in the simplicity. Not to mention their other great flavors such as scorpion. Too many sauces fill the bottle with excessive ingredients. Tabasco needs no more or no less than what it is. Have you tried habanero Tabasco? Less vinegar, so it may be to your liking. I'm just not convinced that one of the oldest sauce makers in the U.S., exporting daily and internationally, is not satisfactory.
I am not in any way implying this is the best hot sauce, just that it demands respect. A lot of people like to hate on it for having too much vinegar, but it is the original.

Nope, the vinegar dominates all the taste and muddies the rest - in my mouth at least.
I grew up having and liking Chinese hot sauces, but I never really took note of the brands that were good. I haven't tried the specific hot sauces in the article below, but the Fly By Jing on the dumplings in this article looks similar to what I've liked the best.
Move over Lao Gan Ma – while it may be the most well known of Chinese chilli oil brands, new chilli oil makers in Canada, America and Australia are making spicy condiments that are dazzling taste buds.
