why are you doing so many 200s?
imagine if this was 12 400s at like 72 with maybe 45 seconds or a minute rest then i would say you could probably run 10:20

Probably but this isn’t a 3200 workout. Need more workouts to tell
I promise I’m not a sprinter my coach makes me do this we do like 16-20 200s every other week

10x400 min rest like 73 avg but the wind was over 15 mph that day
I know a sub 9 guy who literally can’t run faster than 5k pace in practice (barring a few fast 200s). However, he’d routinely run 4 mile tempos in just over 20 minutes. He did the stereotypical JS workout of 20x400 that his coach prescribed, but it was off 30s rest and all 72s.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
