So the left is trying to establish reasonable gun laws to keep kids from getting shot, while the right is opposed to any gun laws - sometimes even denying that any kids were shot! - but it's the left that loves dead kids? You really will twist anything until it is unrecognizable in a vain attempt to make a point.
The reasonable gun laws you propose already exist.
Maybe we should focus on how to deal with the psychopathic murderers running around, not the weapons they use.
Can you tell me why there are so many more psychopathic murderers in the US as opposed to other countries?
It's almost as if there's something else that might be different!
The vast majority of shootings occur in blue cities.
The worst shootings in TX took place in very red rural areas like Uvalde, Santa Fe and Sutherland Springs. That part of Nashville recently flipped to Republican when a long time Dem rep retired. The other congressional district that is a massively gerrymandered district that combines the northern part of Nashville with a bunch of rural counties is also solidly Republican.
So very tragic, mind boggling that so many are trying to find sarcastic humor, you don't even react of find it dreadful and intolerable. This is what your country is, with out heart and common compassion.
28 year old female shooter in a blue district. Very good odds this doesn't turn out the way the left hopes.
The LOVE dead kids if they can jump onto the graves and weaponize them.
You love dead kids as long as they’re dead in a “blue district” and you can gloat about it.
I don't gloat I just point out the shameless hypocrisy of people like yourself that ignore the fact that 99% of the kids that get gun downed aren't shot in a school because it doesn't fit your disgusting narrative.
School shootings are exceedingly rare. The media sensationalizes them which encouraging more shooters to try to become infamous and it gets ignorant people into a tizzy about a problem that's less prevalent than kids choking to death.

Why not try to address all the factors involved? Why is one factor off the table?
Its hard to identify every potential nutcase in a country of 330 Million people.
Maybe just maybe, the ease of access to guns is the root cause of mass shootings AND urban gun violence. Actually it is the obvious common denominator in all of our gun violence problems.

Taking away the rights of the 99.99% of gun owners who aren't criminals isn't the answer.
Most of the deadliest school shootings in world history happened in countries other than the US.
In March 1996, 26 years ago this month, a gunman killed 16 kids and a teacher at Dunblane Primary School. The UK government responded by passing tight gun control legislation. In those 26 years, there have been a total of 0 school shootings in the UK. Why can't the US fix this? How many more children need to die for the sake of "freedom"?

More children choke to death than are shot.
It was very difficult to get a firearm in the UK even before the Firearms Act of 1920.
Comparing a small country with few guns to a huge country with 300+ million guns is silly.
Who's going to forcibly collect all 300 million guns?
USA is easily number one in school shooting deaths. And those aren't just happening in urban areas.
Overall yes. But the overwhelming majority of the deadliest occur outside the US.
It's also worth noting that if gang bangers kill each other on school grounds it's labeled a "school shooting".
You can always count on some nut job to defend America's addiction to guns by saying the worst school shootings happened in other countries or school gang bangers count. He already lost his first argument.
