i’m in high school and have a big season opening invitational i was hoping to do well out but i just recently found i’m in the 4x800 as anchor leg, 1600, 3200, and 4x400 as the anchor leg
1. how do i go about recovering in between events or at least enough to run a fast 1600. the 4x800 would be first then all the 100 prelims + hurdles then 1600 then about two hours until the 3200 followed by the 4x400
2. is this too much hard racing in one day? it’s a pretty big meet with sub 4:20/9:20 guys so it’s more than a workout. i don’t see how i can race well with 4 races. and another reason i’m mad is because i’m the only 2 miler on my team and the only guy even under 5:00 in the mile (4:3x low)
