Six under 9:00 in the boys' 3200, with Carter Spradling edging Matthew Donis, 8:51.62 to 8:52.91.

I'm not from Newbury Park so let's get that out of the way now. But it looks like a big PR for Aaron Cantu in the 3200m. 9:04. Big sigh of relief for that kid.
wonder what those great oak boys were doing this week training wise they got absolutely cooked. elkins struggled. cortes boys got killed especially Ramses who’s has a 9:04 pr
Xai ricks is going to be a threat for the 800m record. Only a junior as well.
Since I put my predictions out there, I'll comment on those and other things:
Boys:
800m Prediction: - Sahlman, Ricks, Ligons, Ray.
I'm also real interested to see how fast Xai Ricks can run with Aaron presumably aiming for around 1:48. Maybe we will see two sub 1:50s again.
-----
Other than Sahlman fading a little, these 4 ran well.
But Tarron Johnson 1:56.94 to 1:50.93 !!!!!!
An established senior with a 6 second 800m PR in one race!!! Major congrats on that.
Mile Prediction: Going with Noonan with a huge PR. Then Seymour, Fasthorse, Petre.
------
Well, the longshot pick didn't work. A PR but not as much as I was hoping for.
The other 3 were in it the whole way. Thomas 4:09 is big, but not totally unexpected given his 1:52 speed.
Grossman with big surprise 4:10, an 8 second PR that I did not see coming.
3200m Prediction: Morganfeld, Simmons, Spradling, Issa, Perez
Donis is the wildcard. Had the best XC season, but almost no track results so far.
-----
Donis was the wildcard, and made the race by pushing the pace.
I got 6 of the top 7, with Bazerkanian reminding me I should have picked him.
Great race, and really fast times across the board. One of the fastest California non-Arcadia races I can remember.
Girls Mile Prediction: Engelhardt, Markow, Godsey.
The real question is will Sadie break any records?
----
The obvious big 3 came through. Sadie faded a little, but give her credit for going for it.
A real fast race, with 14 under 5.
Also, I was very impressed they kept the meet mostly right on schedule.
When I saw the start times were so compressed, I figured they would run an hour late.
Must have been exhausting for the meet officials. This started at 7:15AM, every race was followed by another starting in what seemed like only one minute. And this went on for 14 hours! I did not think that was possible.
Also Freshman Jack McMurrin ran a 10:13. This guy will try to continue the legacy in the future
He is gonna try to continue the legacy for getting the team to NXN since they lost 5 seniors from varsity
9:38 in the 3200 FS Seeded race
He will really help the team senior year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
