He's talking about people in here who talk sh!t on him in general. Most who hate on Tucker is just regurgitating what they said or heard on a liberal news article, social media post or what their friends say. They're not actually people who watch the show. And then they'll claim people who watch Tucker are the real brainwashed ones.
I see the same behavior when the same types of people talk about Jordan Peterson. What the detractors think of them and what they actually are are usually completely different.
*(except the ones with red caps that follow him out to speak in half empty Ohio School Gymnasiums to hear his words of wisdom and make themselves feel justified in hating the people they hate)
The article refers to a private text, so what relevance does watching TC or Fox have?

Please do not defend Tucker. This man has no capacity for shame and the lies he has told have greatly damaged this country. The least of his faults were defending Trump when he really hated him. Being the most popular cable talk show, he was instrumental in convincing the country that the democrats stole the election. He knew this was false but he had election deniers on without challenging them on with he knew was true. Worse he agreed with them on the air.
Now he shows the 1/6 capital attack and lies that there were just tourists.
I don't have to watch Tucker to know he is a huge phony, he told us that in his texts, his own words.
You should be very angry at Tucker for lying to you.

remember that Fox defended itself in court for some other Tucker scandal by saying, and I exaggerate not, that no reasonable adult should believe a word tucker says. Fox argued that Tucker says such ridiculous things that he is obviously a comedian or something like that, so he can't be sued.
The judge believed it.
But yeah some 'conservatives' see him as telling the gospel truth.
Nobody holds the average Republican voter in more contempt than right wing political/media leaders. They know that you just have to say the right things about the libs and nothing else matters. Look at the people who have been elevated to prominence by right wing media. Greene, Boobert, Gaetz, Don Jr, his ugly girlfriend, just to name a few. These are deeply stupid people with sordid pasts, but they say the right words and the rubes eat it up every time. There are no consequences for lying or being wrong or committing crimes or infidelity or predatory behavior. Just say the magic words and then hawk your crap products like gold or “patriot insurance” or commemorative dinner plates or d$ck pills. The money rolls in. Tucker knows this better than anyone except Donald Trump.
The disdain that some people have for nearly half of the country is truly remarkable. This is why people voted for Donald Trump. They know that Democrats and lots of highly educated people think they're ignorant lowlifes, so they vote for Trump as a big F-you. Trump is also really effective at allying himself with working and lower class white people in America. In a way, they really do have something in common. Though rich, Trump acts crass and uncultured. He'll never fit in with old money. He sincerely loves McDonalds and eats it on the regular. Trump tells these people: they hate you, and they hate me. This is the truthfulness of Trump amid the chaos and lies.
Where Tucker is concerned, I think he sincerely endorses Trumpian viewpoints, but he believes Trump fell short on his promises. His show is a lot of parody and trolling. Much of it is not meant to be straight-up reporting. Also, I've never gotten the sense that he thinks of his viewers a dupable lowlifes.

The lawsuit isn't as damning as many people think it is. I'd argue that Tucker Carlson's show is fairly similar to Jon Stewart's, The Daily Show. Much of it is mockery and satire but from a distinct political viewpoint. The slippery thing is that it's difficult sometimes to separate sincere claims from satire. It's postmodern political reporting.

If it's parody he's poor at it. Good parody is understood by everyone to be parody. Many Fox viewers accept whatever TC broadcasts to be accurate as news when it is not.

tucker is laughing at his fans, all the way to the bank. It's just money and fun and fame. He would not hang out with trumpers in MS or AL unless he were paid a ton of money.

Tucker tried to make that same argument decades ago. It simply didn’t hold up then and it doesn’t hold up now. As Jon Stewart himself rightly clarified.
This is the reason CNN's Crossfire is no longer on the air. Jon Stewart shows up these two ignorant political show hosts... 2 against 1, on their own show, a...

When he repackaged the attack on the capital as just a normal tourist visit with a few people getting out of had, was that satire or purposeful damaging (to democracy) lie?
That’s interesting. Would you like to hazard a guess for why?
The most violent cities are heavily Democratic, and the most violent neighborhoods are nearly 100% Dem.
Then why is it conservatives call Dems the snowflakes? Either dems are the violent criminal thugs you seem to want us to be or we're the softer snowflake whiney types who are too sensitive.
Or, of course, these kinds of things are just the usual conservative rhetoric that means absolutely nothing.

Would say the disdain reaches the level of hating with a passion? That much disdain?
