Used to know a Susan Miles.
Used to know a Susan Miles.
Miles Irish
He was a very good runner at Georgetown in the 1980s and was on the 4 x Mile World record relay squad.
Steve Swift
Another vote for Miles Irish!
You guys didn’t like my Webb Simpson suggestion, but how about this actual runner. She should move up to the marathon!
My favorite was Penn State's Bobby Hill. No idea what the dude actually looks like, but I always just pictured the tubby cartoon character stepping to the line in a collegiate race every time I saw his name in the results.
William and Mary
Rocked a Mohawk.
James Jett was a sprinter for West Virginia (and football player).
He won an Olympic Gold in the 4X100 relay.
Circa late 80’s: Anne Hare and Buffy Rabbitt. They raced each other a few times, too.
The Brady part seems irrelevant. Now if he were called Ferrari Vroom maybe, that would be something.
And your mentioning a guy named Bobby Hill naturally brings to mind Bobby Joe Hill, star point guard for the Miners of Texas Western College (now UTEP), who won the 1966 NCAA basketball championship against Kentucky.
Bobby Joe had a teammate playing low post who was named Willie Cager.
..
.
Lmao there is actually a runner named chase pack.
Brady Vroom here, found this cause I googled my name randomly. Thought you guys would love to know that I have a brother named Myles which is as good as it gets. Sadly he never got into running which is a shame
May God have mercy on your soul. Delete this site from your browser history and never think of it again. This place is an absolute cesspool. Great name, by the way.
