I bet you that the Womens winning time is over 1:11.
Aliphine and Molly need to know it is no longer 2020 and Hasay and Conley haven’t been relevant since 2016.

When has it ever been super strong? I ran it in 2018 in perfect weather conditions and the top-4 finishers all ran 1:14:xx, fifth was just under 1:16. Sarah Sellers took 4th, about two months prior to her incredible Boston run. The HM money is $300, $150, $75 so they are not going to pull in the biggest names for the half. The marathon is $1700, $750, $300.
Where did you find a list for this year's elite field?
Oh, and Hasay took 3rd at Boston in 2019 so to say she hasn't been relevant since 2016 is a little disingenuous.
Aliphine has pulled out. Here we go.
It never was supposed to be a “major” race. Seidel likely only did this as a training run in prep for her marathon build, get the OTQ standard since the course is net downhill, and she’s the defending course record holder so why not?
Unfortunately she was sick this week so don’t expect a great result. She also has been doing some insane mileage and didn’t really cut back much this week (especially for being sick) so I don’t think she had super high expectations.
Seidel clocked 1:11:42. Keep in mind she ran 1:16:22 back in November, and took a substantial amount of time off in 2022. This is of course not where she used to be yet, but let’s give her some credit for coming back and sticking her nose in it. This board is unnecessarily hard on her and I am happy she is clawing her way back.
Connelly?
Hasay?
1) Jeralyn Poe 1:10:36
2) Molly Seidel 1:11:42
3) Brittany Feivor 1:11:46
4) Katrina Spratford 1:11:51
5) Sydney Devore 1:12:09
6) Marybeth Chelanga 1:12:38
7) Rosie Edwards 1:13:05
8) Katja Goldring 1:14:22
9) Jessica Scheriff 1:14:36
10) Natalie Callister 1:14:48
Jordan Hasay 1:17:38
Sarah Bishop is leading the marathon by about one minute after 14 miles
Conley is not listed. Must have been a DNS.
So they advertised 4 “star studded females”. Their words not mine.
Aliphinie—Molly—Kim—Jordan
None of them won and only one finished in the top 10?
Time to find some new stars.
Don't know what is up with Ashley Paulson, the woman who some people think cheated at Badwater. She is listed as already finishing the marathon but her time is still running. Either she dropped out and for some reason is listed as having run 26.2 miles or she is still out there running and her chip is malfunctioning. The leader is approaching 18 miles now.
