As of now:
2 guys went sub 3:55.89
6 guys went sub 7:44.8
13 guys went sub 13:26.44 (all at BU)
…not there yet, but in 3000m for example, the following runners have not attempted the Q yet:
Hicks (RS)?, Jacobs, Robinson, Maier, Fay, Clinger, Blanks, Wolfe, Rodriguez…

…and another one in the 3000m (7:41.9). would have been 4th NCAA all time at beg of season. Doesn’t deserve a thread or anything or even runner’s name
2 more in the mile. Now 8

Last year they were 3:55.89, 7:45.80 and 13:26.44 respectively
At this point in the season:
1 guy went sub 3:55.89
3 guys went sub 7:45.8
12 guys went sub 13:26.4
I say 3:54.5, 7:44.0 and 13:22 will be required to be in the top 16
Time is running out. Too 16 are only:
- 3:55.98 (5 guys went sub 3:54.5)
- 7:44.76 (12 guys went sub 7:44.0)
- 13:26.11 (11 guys went 13:22 or faster)
However, who would have thought that:
in the mile, Colin’s best would only be 4:03 or Henz would only be 3:57 or Martin would only be 3:56…. But I was far off in the mile.
in the 3000m, Nico’s best would only be 7:51, Robinson would only be 7:49 or Hicks would only be 7:53…
in the 5000m, Schoppe would not have a time, Abdalla would not have a time, Lumb would not have a time…
that being said, the 3000m and 5000m are the fastest ever and the mile is very close to the best ever ( and there is still time)
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
