I remain confused about her use of the season's eligibility. She competed which normally counts unless an athlete gets injured. So if she stayed at Alabama, she used the season but if she leaves, she can't compete but should also have used the eligibility.
Mareno leading off with Tuohy on the anchor would be very good as few teams have the combo of very top 1200/800/1600 legs who will not run the individual events. For example last year VA Tech had a very good team but then they lost Butler to the open 800. Arkansas will find a good team if Gregory and Van Camp do not run mile or 5000. Stanford top mid D runners would have to give up on their individual events.
Ucla does have some hidden DMR talent with a 2:04 800M runner a 53 second 400m girl. Of course Barnett 4:31 (1600m) time. They have a couple possibilities with Gwyn George at the 1200 or others. They are a sleeper team but a slim chance. They do have 400m and 800m power.
I would be shocked if Tuohy does not do 3k/5k again.
well, time will tell if she runs on a qualifying DMR (which she did not do last year after illness). She seems to always mention relays when talking about the team.

She will do the 3k/5k double.
She already qualified for the 5k, she will get her qualifying time for the 3k at Millrose. Does NCAA accept times from Millrose? It's not a college meet.

Yes, Wayment got her 3000 qualifying time (8:50.05) last year at Millrose. Tuohy having a qualifying time in 5000 does not guaratee she will run it! Recall 4:06.8 in the Spring? I would say more likely than not she does 5000/3000 but there is still a reasonable chance it becomes DMR/3000. And that chance gets higher if they do have a 0:53 400 leg, a 2:05 800 leg, and a 3:20 or faster leadoff leg.
