Nico Young winning his first national title
A collegiate breaks the 13:00 barrier. We have a slew of guys running 13:11-13:14 in December, my guess is one of them breaks through and goes sub 13 this year
Cade Flatt breaks the CR
I feel like this could definitely happen and it’ll be one of these five guys: Nico Young, Bosley, Dylan Jacobs, Alex Maier, or Ky Robinson.
I feel like Hicks will be focused on running a fast 10k instead
Cade Flatt breaks the world record.
Oklahoma state men's team continues on a monster 2022 year and wins 2023 xc championships. Alex Maier wins the outdoor 5k, running under 13:05.

UCLA, led by Valby/Tuohy, get 3rd at Nats
Valby breaks the NCAA records in 5000 and 10,000.
I like Will Sumner to have a better chance of that. But in all seriousness, 5k indoors and outdoors/10k records are both vulnerable. Womens indoor 800 might be broken.
I like this prediction but I'll go one step further. She will break the record but come second place to Tuohy who will inherit the NCAA record.
She may miss a turn without golf cart to follow.
She will still break the records.
Katelyn Tuohy breaking the NCAA Mile, 3000m and 5000m records!
When Tuohy won her first national xc title in 2017, she then went on to break 3 national records in the 2017-2018 school year.

Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
